2025 Property Assessment notices

Homeowners will be receiving 2025 Assessment notices in the mail for property taxes.  Elliott and Associates will be filing an appeal on behalf of our association.   You do not need to do anything.  They will file an appeal before the deadline.  We have been notified that Sussex Square Association as a whole could see an increase near 40%.  

GUTTER CLEANING - FALL CLEANUP

Gutter Cleaning will be done once the majority of leaves have fallen.


Best Lawns will be working through the month of November for Fall Cleanup.   If your area is not cleaned up yet - be patient they are working through the property

Insurance requires the signage at the pond due to the liability.  The HOA’s duty is to enforce the rules.

Please respect the posted signage.

VISITOR PARKING

Friendly reminder, please make sure you park your vehicle in a legal parking spot.      Please do not park on the grass, or in areas designated as NO PARKING.   If your not legally parked, you may be towed.


Visitor parking is not designed to be an additional long term parking spot for Homeowners additional vehicles.   Homeowners should use their garage or driveway for their personal vehicles.  If you are leaving additonal vehicles in visitor parking for extended periods due to garage being used as storage - please consider using a storage facility for your items.  There is a storage area across the street next to McDonalds that is very inexpensive.


The number one complaint the HOA hears from homeowers on a weekly basis is visitor parking is always full with homeowner vehicles.   With the holidays approaching, please be considerate to your neighbors who have guests visiting.  


Please use your garage or driveway for your vehicles.    Also, handicap parking is not designed to be a residents personal parking spot.   If your re using handicap as your personal parking spot, please be considerate of others that need it for visitors.

Patio and Garage Apron Replacement or Repair

Garage Aprons

Homeowners have asked who is responsible for fixing or replacing Garage Aprons.  This is a Homeowner‘s ResponsibilIty To repair or replace.   ACC form is required to be filled out and approved by board.

Patios 8x8 concrete

Homeowners have asked who is responsible for replacing or repairing Patio.   Patios are a homeowner responsibility.   ACC form is required to be filled out and approved by board.    Replacement patio slab must be 8x8. 

Patios. 6x14 (approximately)

Patio for “A” units is approximately 6 x 14. Replacement must be the same size of original slab.  ACC Form is required to be filled out and approved by board.  Concrete vendor measured and provided the dimensions of 6x14 In the image.

Homeowner Documents that are frequenty requested

Installing Security Cameras, requesting to make landscape changes, replacing windows or doors, or would like to change the color of your front door?   Any exterior changes need Board approval.  Please submit an ACC Application for Board approval.

Cul De Sac Parking - NO STREET PARKING ANYTIME - TOW AWAY ZONE SIGNS

Friendly reminder to observe these signs and others in the community,  Emergency vehicles need  to get into our Cul De Sacs.   Please be respectful of your neighbors,

Handicap Parking

Please only park in the Handicapped Parking Spaces if you have a handicap Placard or Plate.   Please be respectful to your neighbors that need these spaces.

Garbage Day

Friendly reminder on Windy days to be thoughtful of others, and try to keep loose items out till morning pickup.  Or, secure them in your can.

Garbage Doors and Unlocked Vehicles

For safety reasons, please remember to close your garage door at night or during the day if your not outside.   Also, leaving cars unlocked or running unattended is inviting trouble,   Our Crime Watch group has updated all of us that leaving doors unlocked is easy target for theft.

Do not leave your vehicles running in your garage unattended or for extended periods of time.
